Teelightful Teesigns: T-Shirt Upcycling

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Berkley Public Library
Meeting Room

Join the “maker movement” and upcycle your old t-shirts to create unique, no sew, simple and useful projects and designs. No sew projects include scarves, dog toys, t-shirt jewelry, belts, skirts, hat, tassels and more.

WHAT TO BRING?

1. Two or three old t-shirts for constructing projects.

Tee shirts with graphics are great for some projects but not great for others. We suggest a variety. Any old tee shirt will do! - If you don't have a color at home that you like, thrift shops have a huge selection of colorful and inexpensive options. - You might not end up using all the shirts you bring but trading with friends at the workshop is fun and encouraged.

2. A creative mindset and willingness to have fun, relax, and hang out with your inner maker artist!
